PATTERN CHANGE LAB

One of the things that has to be faced is the process of waiting to change the system, how much we have got to do to find out who we are, where we have come from and where we are going.

It has become resoundingly clear that the status quo is not working. There is a shift in thinking, expectations and the possibilities that our society can be equitable and just. We need a paradigm shift. We need a pattern change in our approach to addressing the climate crisis.

Pattern Change Lab challenges existing patterns that are obstacles to transformative systems change in the climate and environment systems. We focus on the design and development of patterns with an equity and justice lens that will lead to effective processes,

that will lead to transformative change in how we create policy, advocacy, analysis and engagement to address environmental and social goals. We have to shift how we create, design and develop policy, advocacy, analysis and engagement in order to create transformative systems change.

Only by creating new patterns, that provide a stronger foundation for collaboration and partnership rooted in equity and justice, will we meet our environmental and social goals.
